Tibbetts Trails & Park

The Tibbetts Park area, located at 423 Pacific St SW, was acquired as an addition to Aitkin City Park, with a focus on preserving its natural environment. The City is thoughtfully developing this space to maintain its natural character while making it accessible and useful for the community. The park features a parking and picnic area overlooking the Ripple River, along with mowed natural trails for hiking. Visitors can explore the property and enjoy its scenic landscape. In the summer of 2024, several trees were planted as part of an educational tree trek, which will continue to be developed. In the fall of 2024, a perimeter fence was installed to create a dog park, providing residents with a designated area where their dogs can run freely and enjoy the outdoors.
